Here’s what the engine really answers, for a given profile. The regulations, the deadline, the cited text, and what’s still left to document aren’t written for this page: they’re calculated, and a test recalculates them with every release.

E-invoicing — Receipt
In forceDeadline: 01/09/2026Be able to receive electronic invoices through a platform (PDP or PPF directory), regardless of company size. Invoices received are supporting documents for deductible VAT: their retention period is now 10 years, up from 6 years previously. Without a connection to a platform, a progressive fine applies after a formal notice that goes unheeded: €500, then €1,000 per quarter until compliance — not counting the risk of losing the right to deduct VAT on misrouted invoices.

Left to document doesn’t mean non-compliant: on a brand-new profile, nothing has been declared yet. The free diagnostic tells you what concerns you, not where you stand.
